Cleric urges FG to rebuild churches destroyed by insurgents in North-East

It would be the right thing to do, but can and should Churches wait on the FG to rebuild the ‘buildings’? Would they not be waiting for ever?

The Presiding Bishop of Victory Chapel International, Bishop Mike Bamidele has urged the Federal Government to rebuild the churches destroyed by insurgents in the North-East to pacify the traumatized Christians.

“Doing so will begin the healing process of the traumatized Christian populace in the North. It will be a big plus to this administration. They should go beyond reconstruction to rehabilitation, reintegration and reconciliation.

“There should be steps taken that will re-assure the citizens and Christians in particular both indigenes and residents in Northern Nigeria that they can live a normal life and practice their faith unhindered,” he said.
